Does Sadie pay my employee for me?

No. We never move money. You send pay yourself on Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, or however you two already pay. Sadie calculates the net and points you to the right app.

Does Sadie file my taxes?

No. Sadie calculates your numbers and gives you the actual W-2 and W-3 forms, filled in and ready to download from Tax Center. For 2026 Schedule H, we fill a line-by-line worksheet from your paydays — the IRS's official 2026 form unlocks when they publish it. You still sign, send, and file everything with the IRS and your state yourself.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel your plan anytime from Settings. Canceling your plan won't close the entire account. Closing the account is a separate step: the account is inactive for 14 days, then permanently deleted. Once an account is completely deleted, it cannot be reversed.

What happens to my records if I cancel?

Canceling your plan stops billing. It won't close the entire account or delete your records. Closing the account is a separate step from Settings: the account is inactive for 14 days, then permanently deleted. Export what you need first. Once an account is completely deleted, it cannot be reversed.

Is my information secure?

Their login is theirs. We don't collect Social Security numbers or bank account numbers. They add tax choices themselves. We don't sell personal information.

Where is Sadie available?

All 50 states plus DC. Sadie calculates federal payroll taxes — Social Security, Medicare, federal unemployment, and optional federal withholding — the same way everywhere, and we've verified a minimum wage and a state unemployment new-employer rate for all 50 states plus DC. Where a state has its own income tax, Sadie also estimates state withholding from that state's published tax brackets — an estimate, not a guaranteed match to that state's own withholding formula. See Coverage for the details, including sources.

Your privacy and security come first

We never collect Social Security numbers or bank logins. Your employee enters their own information on a private invite.

Built around published tax rules

Sadie calculates from published IRS and state sources. Estimates only — not tax advice.

Sadie is $12.99/month for your first active employee, plus $4.99/month for each additional active employee. After the first payday, an active subscription is required to calculate additional paydays or new ongoing payroll and tax outputs. Existing records stay available if you don't subscribe. Automated email reminders go out 21 days, 7 days, and 1 day before federal tax deadlines. Tax Center always shows what's due and the filled packet. Traditional prices are published list prices for full-service household payroll services as of 2026 (Poppins Payroll, GTM EasyPay, Care.com HomePay) and can change. Sadie does not file or remit tax payments, and it never moves money.
